Fresh Is Best Both for Yourself and Your Youngsters

If you’re a mom at home on a diet, you may doubtless related to a standard situation I encounter as a weight management advisor. Secure with toothpick. Cut the carrot and celery with a plant peeler for truly thin slices. Six. Put into plastic bags for a fruity ice block. 7. Meatball surprise. Next time you are making meatloaf, double the quantity and make a bunch of meatballs. These are good in lunch-boxes cold. Add dipping ketchup if needed. Eight. Mini quiches.make a bunch of crust-less quiche and cook in muffin tray. Each ‘muffin ‘ will be a superb healthful snack for kids. Nine. Chilled fruit surprise – cut a mix of strawberries, bananas, kiwi fruit, melon, grapes or in season fruit. Place in tiny reusable plastic container. Crown with apple juice, don’t overfill. Ten. Eleven. Sliced hard boiled egg served with lo-fat mayonnaise, salt, pepper on a crisp bread. 12. Leaf wrappers : wrap a cheese finger, celery stick and carrot stick in a lettuce leaf.
Encase in foil and put in lunch-box. Contents will remain wet.
Thirteen. Yoghurt tub. Fourteen. Baby Bell Cheese and lo-fat cracker. 15.
Creamy dates : cut dates lengthways, remove stone. Fill with Philadelphia cream cheese ( fat free ). 16. Fast sausage rolls : wrap a skinned ( top quality ) sausage in a couple of sheets of filo pastry. Cut into desired lengths. Bake in tolerably hot range for 15-20 mins. Rolls can be frozen. Seventeen. Same as indicated but use fresh chicken fillet strips and cut to 2′ – use tomato or favourite dipping sauce eighteen.
