Anonymity Speaks

“Isildur1″ finally breaks his silence over the severe slash to his bankroll he took just before the holidays thanks to CardRunners.com pro Brian Hastings. “Isildur1″ has been hailed as a champion of the nosebleed tables on FTP, bringing life into the mostly stagnant poker online game. Taking on Tom “Durrr” Dwan and “Zigmund” for tons of money, and, well, immediately lost it back to Patrick Antonius and Phil Ivey. But the controversy surrounds the match that was played after several bouts with Brian Townsend and Cole South. Both Townsend and South played several online poker hands with “Isildur1″ and they with the hands played by Hastings were able to form a pretty good scouting report on “Isildur1.” In an interview with Gambling911.com, the anonymous Swede spoke out about the behavior. He said the whole online poker game felt wrong. Everytime he would try to bluff, it was as if Hasting would call him on it. It was as if Hasting had a perfect response to every action “Isildur1″ would make. At the time “Isildur1″ was thinking that Hastings was just incredibly lucky and running really well against him. But in a slip of the tongue in an interview with ESPN magazine, “Isildur1″ found out exactly what was going on. It’s a FTP rule that sharing of hand histories is against the policy and procedures. So “Isildur1″ is thinking of filing a formal complaint against Hastings and his cohorts. It’s yet to be seen if any of the 4.2 million lost will be returned to “Isildur1″ but FTP will most definitely be taking action against Hasting and possibly South and Townsend as well.
