Keeping in Touch with Intelius’ iSearch

The 2009 CODiE Awards made Intelius’ online people lookup tool for Internet users called iSearch a finalist on their 24th Annual Awards. Organized by America’s digital content and software industry association, the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA), the event featured activities like business development and intellectual property protection. SIIA, previously known as Software Publishers Association, merged with the Information Industry Association in 1999 after its inception in 1984.

Since it first started giving out awards, the CODiE Awards program has made it a point to feature only the best products in the US software and information industry. Moreover, they also regularly pay tribute to corporate achievement and philanthropy, and this is where Intellius fits the bill perfectly, because it is famous for its achievements and philanthropic endeavors.

Intelius cofounder and chief executive officer Naveen Jain shared to the public his excitement at the possibility of the company winning another award. He further added that receiving recognition for their products and services is an honor for the company and its people. Intellius’ iSearch is a convenient online tool for tracking down anyone and offers better results than googling does. Consumers can search by name, location, screen name, phone number, and other relevant information. iSearch likewise delivers results from social networks as well as regular web pages. What it does is to go through the Web and perform a thorough scan before gathering and displaying all the information in one entry.

Jain explains that the conventional people search such as googling and resorting to white pages, or tracking them physically, is nothing in comparison to the social networking phenomenon. He highlighted the fact that Intelius’ iSearch will also benefit those looking to reunite with their former co-workers aside from helping people carry out the simple task of keeping in touch with family members.
