AT&T Uverse Deals on TV and Internet
Last Thurday I had ATT come to set up Uverse through our townhome. I went for the Television plus Net deal. We’d heard rumors about Att Uverse getting to the region, but those usually never come true. All of a sudden right after the start of the month, I found out that it was no rumor.
So our family made the switch and dig. The on screen menu is smartly configured, and is better than any other service have ever used. Att Uverse also is instant, wiping out the wait I typically dealt with when choosing a station with other companies. The coolest aspect about the Television is anybody can program our DVR through my computer or even by my mobile phone, and it has 4 inputs of taping so I can record various HD shows and multiple SD programs at the same time. The regular shows are crystal clear, and the high def seems to be as well.
We searched and learned of bundles on att u-verse and I registered thru the web, and am expecting $175 in rebates. Also Att Uverse also gives NO contracts upon sign-up. They’re doing this to get people to try the new technology. So basically I’m basically on a no cost two month trial run. The only negative was the multiple week delay for the setup, and that the remote they provide will not turn my new HD television on. These are Small issues though for a solid package.
